Delete my data

Delete your TV's playlists and usage data from UTM Play. All you need is the MAC address and the device key shown in the app.

What we delete

  • Every playlist saved for this TV (playlist address, username and password).
  • The link to a partner, if you signed in with a partner's code.
  • The TV's usage data: last IP address and its date, model, system version, language and the playlist in use.
  • The customer name saved by a reseller, if any, and the open sessions of the device.

What we keep, and why

  • The TV record (MAC, device key and app type) with its activation and expiry date. Without it, a paid license would be lost and the free trial could be used again.
  • Payments and transactions, because tax law requires it.
  • A copy of the deleted playlists in an internal archive that only our team can access, to handle complaints and undo mistakes. It never goes back to the TV.
  • A record of this deletion and of attempts with a wrong key (MAC, IP and date), for security. The IP in these records is deleted within 90 days.

Delete now

Open UTM Play on the TV: the MAC address and device key are on the first screen and in the app settings. After deleting, the TV opens with no playlist; to use it again, add a playlist.

Six pairs of letters and numbers, e.g. a1:b2:c3:d4:e5:f6.

The code shown on the TV, next to the MAC address.
